This joint committee is chaired by the Education Chair and the Parent Involvement Chair from each campus. Both chairs from the Parent Involvement piece of the Committee hold a position on the Board of Directors. This committee performs tasks related to all parent involvement aspects of the school, and organizes other activities and events in support of the families of the school. The committee also works closely with the Executive Director and educators, providing support to the educators (e.g., librarian, gifts for the educators, and other activities). It is encouraged that the members of this committee be comprised of at least one parent from each class, serving as liaisons between the educators of their class and the rest of the class parents in organizing class events and other tasks to help the educators. The Committee is responsible for organizing and executing the Mentor Program - providing support to new families, and for devising ways to maintain joy in every aspect of our school.
